The Century Council is a national, not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to fighting drunk driving and underage drinking. For more than a decade, The Century Council has established itself as an industry leader in identifying, researching, and creating resources that help criminal justice professionals address the hardcore drunk driving issue in their communities. In this area, their goal is to assist law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, probation and parole, and treatment providers in the swift identification, certain punishment, and effective treatment of hardcore drunk drivers. Building on the foundation established with its National Hardcore Drunk Driver Project and with guidance provided by a national panel of criminal justice experts, The Century Council created the Judicial Education Project, which promotes a multi-disciplinary, system-wide approach to the hardcore drunk driver issue. In support of their leadership efforts and our mutual commitment to driving effective programs that address hardcore drunk drivers, AMS is pleased to share The Century Council’s Judicial Education Project resource guides for downloading that were developed for judges, prosecutors, and probation and parole officers.
